WeCare@thbs is a unified workforce that has made a great stride over the years from a non- descriptive existence to a philanthropic club serving not only people in need but also contributing towards mankind, wildlife & nature.
WeCare at THBS enliven the Motto of the Forum by working closely with various organizations to help, enable the needy.
Recent Activities:As Part of a Fund Raiser event -" AmitiYoti" We Care team has organized a Performance by the students of Ramana Maharishi School for Blind. This Stellar Performance of contemporary dance, which includes classical (Bharatnatyam) to Bhagra was an awe- inspiring event, at the end of the one-hour show the audience were dumb to witness a great show by specially-enabled children.
WeCare at THBS is supporting VGKK tribal School in the foothills of BR Hills, with distribution of various academic stationeries for all the children of the school. Visits to this tribal school are filled with lot of invaluable moments, the enthusiasm to learn, knowledge on current happenings exhibited by the kids here is amazing. WeCare team has envisaged a good future plan for the school where we wish to sponsor few school kids who have been selected for the national level athletics.
THBS WeCare team initiative towards the conservation of nature has been notable; the WeCare team at THBS has been actively involved with the developmental initiatives for a resettled tribal hamlet in the fringes of the Nagarhole National Park, in support to the Forest Department Govt of Karnataka. WeCare team has also envisaged future plans of various constructive measures for the resettlers and the team is working towards realization of this actions. WeCare team is actively involved in helping members of the antipoaching camp in the Nagarhole National Park, Karnataka with distributions of Jackets, Blankets & Boots for these members. We Care also envisages future plans to provide accidental insurance for these members who serve the Forest Department in hostile terrains deep in the forest against organized Poaching in wildlife.
One of the most successful venture by the WeCare team at THBS is the orientation classes of Computers at BGMS orphanage, the weekend sessions taken by members of WeCare team has been a great success at the orphanage where more than 30 kids come for these classes. The Passion to learn is the biggest motivation for the entire WeCare team to drive this initiative. WeCare team feel proud to have atleast enabled in these kids a passage to the world of computers. WeCare team has been continuously monitoring performance of these kids and plans to have scholarship for the students to take a comprehensive, job oriented curriculum organized by NIIT.
WeCare team has also taken an initiative to help an Old age home where the team wishes to enable few inmates with certain skills so as to make them feel independent and in turn do certain useful activities.
WeCare at THBS has certainly made huge leap over the years and is looking forward with many bigger initiatives in the future. As Part of THBS corporate social responsibility we plan for sponsor the mid-day meal program for a School, constructive measures & a teacher for Karnataka School for Blind.
WeCare team is driven with motivation to look for many more sustainable initiatives and is ably supported by a corpus fund raised from an employees and the contribution from the Management. The entire team is committed and looks forward with a single aim and Motto " We Care for Lives".
